Biography

Isabelle is a journalist with more than 20 years experience and has covered countless big business and political stories in Europe during that time. She anchored prime time evening news on Euronews for several years. She has also traveled the world interviewing heads of state and government, CEOs and celebrities generating more than 2 million views on YouTube. Isabelle moderates at high level events, including the first ever EU Presidential debate, deep dives at the Davos World Economic Forum, business analysis at the Consumer Goods Forum and drilling down into the digital health transformation at the influential HIMSS conference. She has presented award ceremonies for the UN and chaired a private lunch with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Before heading to Euronews, Isabelle worked for CNN, APTN and Reuters.

Biography

Olivier Lalieu est historien. Il est depuis 2002 responsible de l’aménagement des lieux de mémoire et des projets externes du Mémorial de la Shoah à Paris. Parmi ses activités, il coordonne le Réseau des lieux de mémoire de la Shoah en France et son dispositif des Ambassadeurs de la mémoire créé en 2015. Il est membre du conseil du centre international pour l’éducation sur Auschwitz et l’Holocauste auprès du Musée d’Auschwitz-Birkenau et expert auprès de la Fondation pour la mémoire de la Shoah. Il a notamment dirigé « La Shoah. Au cœur de l’anéantissement », Tallandier, 2021.

Le Mémorial de la Shoah est l’une des principales institutions au monde dédiées à la mémoire de la Shoah. C’est un musée, un centre de documentation et d’éducation et un lieu de mémoire. Sa mission est de comprendre le passé pour éclairer l’avenir, préserver et transmettre l’histoire et la mémoire de l’Holocauste et éduquer contre l’antisémitisme, la haine, le racisme et l’intolérance. Le Mémorial organise des activités culturelles (expositions, colloques, etc.) et pédagogiques. Elle forme 60000 élèves et 10000 enseignants par an, en France et à l’étranger. Le centre de documentation du Mémorial est le plus grand d’Europe sur l’Holocauste, avec plus de 40 millions d’archives, de photos, de livres, etc.

Mrs. Landman has 10 years of professional experience in the field of security.

The BESC employs her as the head of the antisemitism dpt, research and analysis dpt, and security awareness department where she created and implemented a program to enhance and improve the awareness of the Jewish community in Belgium.

The program includes training for adults and children. She has trained several staff members of the Ministry of Interior and Justice in Belgium.

Mrs. Landman holds a Master's degree in political science from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), 2 certificates CAGEP & CRIAC from UCL, 1 certificate in crisis and disaster management from the University of Tel Aviv, and 1 certificate from Solvay Business school in Business Management.

BESC (Bureau Executif de Sécurité Communautaire) is a charity that protects Belgian Jews from antisemitism and related threats. BESC has over 90 full and part-time staff and volunteers based in Brussels. BESC provides security advice and training for Jewish communal organizations, schools, and synagogues. BESC secures over 100 Jewish communal buildings and approximately 500 communal events every year. BESC's mission is to facilitate Jewish life by protecting Jews from the dangers of antisemitism, and antisemitic terrorism in particular. Help those who are victims of antisemitic hatred, harassment or bias. Promote research into racism, antisemitism and extremism; and to use this research for the benefit of both the Jewish community and society in general.
